Our goal is to teach the OEF/OIF Veteran experiencing PTSD, to balance their stress and galvanize their strength through organization, structure, and appreciation. To facilitate in building assets both intangible and tangible. To create job opportunities through entrepreneurship within an urban working society. By building financial assets that gives Veterans the ability to brake the poverty and homeless cycle.

" We are taught to have one particular viewpoint, that there is an immediate threat, so the need to hunt and find the enemy, prey, is the informed command, your adrenaline takes over, the instinct to survive kicks in turbo drive, so kill or be killed. But upon returning, there is no immediate threat, except the mental one you impose on yourself. Because of the internal struggle, an external fight to be normal, but you do not know what normal is anymore, so you pretend, problem with pretending it causes anxieties, because so much of your inner self is striped away and silenced, you loose the instinct to trust, just to survive the threat, so everyone becomes the enemy, your family, old friends, your children, your wife, your employer, you just spiral out of control and on the run, a prisoner of your minority, a sense of loneliness and not belonging overwhelms you, there is no where to call home, this eats away at you, it becomes a reciting reel from a receding past".

None of these concepts will come to life without the help of you. It is not enough to say, "I support our Veterans".
This does not buy one 2x4, or a sheet of drywall or even a screw. It does not provide a bed, a meal, a peaceful night, or a warm shower.
